10 Books to Read Before College (My Personal Reading List)

Before college starts I’ve promised myself to read all the books that are under my TO-BE-READ list (which is a daunting list). That’s the downside of living near a book store. Whenever I pass by the book store, I always turn back and spend couple of minutes wandering around. Which results in me sneaking in a book or two, this leads to the growth of my never-ending TBR list. I hope I’m not the only one.

Since I’ve never really made known what kind of books I read, I’ll give you a bit of a background information about my reading history. I started reading when I was in 7th grade. My very first book was Deenie by Judy Blume, that was the start of my obsession over a good love story. I couldn’t read many books since I had school, all these years till 12th grade I used to sneak in books to class and get caught.

but it was only recent that I started reading books with no one interrupting me. I read books from classics to YA, but I lean more towards fantasy/romance books. I believe the best love story ever written is the Bible, always and forever.

Here’s my daunting TBR/currently reading books list:-

The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt – This book is all about a little boy, who lost his mother, trying to live this difficult life and figure things out on his own. As a reader, It’s a journey you go through with him. I’m halfway through the book, and so far I like it, I wouldn’t say I love it. (50%/100%)

Imitating Christ by Thoma À Kempis (12%/100%)

Right Ho, Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse (15%/100%)

EMMA by Jane Austen (0%/100%)
